Suzuki Address 110 - How to Change the Rear Indicator Bulb
Someone asked how to change the rear indicator on the Suzuki Address 110. We've assumed that means the bulb rather than the entire indicator, and here's the resulting video!

Mech It Better: Euro-Jaunt 2019 (Highlights)

We ventured less north on our first European escapade with our very own motorbikes. A light infiltration of Northern France with a gentle peruse of Belgium's highlights. Our 2 week trip covered over 1500miles and featured a generally casual average mileage to allow for a few pedestrian moments along the way. Not forgetting the British delights either end of the journey to, and from, "Le tunnel"...

    Solved!!! I have been suffering with this problem for the last 3 weeks! And after changing egr and many other parts and sensors! Turns out the egr cooler has a flap inside it that breaks of and gets sucked backwards into the turbo and jamming it! I had no error codes for turbo and all the codes i did have had beed related to egr/dpf! Please check your turbo will freewheel and is not seized first before throwing hundred or even thousands on miss-diagnostic! 👍

    I wish Suzuki still made these, they were stupid cheap and economical back then. I'll try to nab one from the used market if I can but they're pretty rare around here in the south of Europe, market mostly dominated by Piaggio. If you still have it love it

    How tall are you? Does the bike fit you for your size? I am thinking about buying one of these to start of but the seller was worried about my height and me being to tall. I am 191cm (about 6,2)

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter Месяц назад

      Hi, As I'm sure I've made clear, I thoroughly enjoyed owning this bike so you're on the right track. It's an absolute trooper ...if you look after it 😉 I'm about 173cm and felt like it was a good fit for me. This doesn't instantly mean it's going to be a bad choice for you. I would highly recommend getting your butt on which ever bike you intend to buy, or at least the same model, to let your body give you the answer. It's the best/easiest way to be sure and potentially the most accurate (even if you are just sat on it). All the little things like are the foot controls in a comfortable position, how much do you have to bend your knees, does the position of the handlebars force bad posture or put your shoulders in an uncomfortable position? etc All things that you just don't know without physically straddling your weapon of choice. Taller riders tend to go for the cruiser style bikes to get a bit more leg room but if that's not your style, a supermoto might give your legs the breathing room they need but retain the more typical riding position. It might be worth visiting a local motorbike shop to see if you can swing a leg over a few different styles to see what suits you best and then match it to your budget. Does any of that sound like it might be useful?

    Do you order a shim kit specific for Kawasaki versys 650. Or do you order the shims individually?? Could you please add the link Thank you

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter 2 месяца назад

      Hi, The outer diameter for the versys shims is 7.48mm. You can buy specific kits for the bike which includes a whole bunch of different thicknesses to cover a wide range of adjustments or you can buy separately. It's obviously a bigger investment to buy a full kit but then you're probably covered for all eventualities before you even strip the bike down to check. At that point you can replace them straight away and reassemble. If you can survive without the bike for a while, do the check and then order the specific ones you need. Just be very sure you're measurements are correct. We we're lucky that the guys at NYAB (where we did the video) already had stock available to use onsite and we didn't have to order any. A company I have previously used for bike parts is Wemoto. They do list shims for the versys. Hope that helps
